HCHCIC employs 22 full-time staff members at its center. The diversity of the staff reflects the cultural diversity of the program and its community. More than half of our staff began their association with HCHCIC as parents and with our help and support received the credentials for the positions they now hold.
Currently in the center many former parents hold positions as Head Teacher, assistant teachers, family workers and support staffs.
Staff Credentials are aligned with the Department of Health Article 47 Day Care Unit as well NYC Department of Education Early Childhood UPK requirements for teachers.
The classrooms receive services as an integrated program /Inclusion for children with special needs HCHC’s staff are licensed special education providers.
The Staff are encouraged to continue their personal education. All of our classrooms are staffed with bilingual (English/Spanish & Creole) individuals.
